Cell Phone Use Leads to Arrest

Felix Camarillo, 36, of Wheeling was arrested June 6 for driving with a revoked license, driving with an expired registration and driving an uninsured motor vehicle, according to Deerfield Police reports. After stopping Camarillo for driving with an expired registration in the vicinity of Waukegan and Lake Cook Roads, police learned his license had been revoked and he was uninsured. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 3 p.m. July 2 in Park City.

Maria Caceres, 38, of Waukegan was arrested June 6 for driving while license suspended, using a hand held cell phone in a construction zone and driving an uninsured motor vehicle, according to Deerfield Police reports. Police observed Caceres driving with “a cell phone handset in her left ear” in the vicinity of Lake Cook and Waukegan Roads. After stopping her, police learned her license was suspended and she was uninsured. She was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 3 p.m. July 2 in Park City.

Betty Campbell, 65, of South Holland was arrested June 5 for driving while license suspended and driving with an expired registration, according to Deerfield Police reports. After stopping her for the expired registration, police learned her license was suspended. She was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 1:30 p.m. July 2 in Park City.

Soliciting Without a Permit

Tervanno Arquel Stewart, 36, of Memphis was arrested June 6 for soliciting without a permit, according to Deerfield Police reports. After responding to a call about a person soliciting on Byron Court, police encountered Stewart trying to sell goods, learned he had been warned May 3 for soliciting without a permit and had a “criminal background in both Tennessee and North Carolina.” He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 3 p.m. August 6 in Park City.
