Deerfield Man Indicted for Trade Secret Theft
Sixing Liu faces additional charges after March, 2011, arrest.
A Deerfield man charged just over a year ago with divulging sensitive military information at a conference in China a few months before was indicted on the additional court of possessing stolen trade secrets Thursday, according to a report in Newsday.
Sixing Liu, who worked for a New Jersey based defense contractor, was originally arrested at his Deerfield home in March, 2011, for taking restricted military information out of the country and lying to authorities.
The secrets dealt with technology that could be used for target locators and other military applications.
