Car on Stratford Lane Burglarized

Burglary to Motor Vehicle

A phone charger, auxiliary cord, insurance card and vehicle registration card were taken from a glove box in a motor vehicle July 17 in the 900 block of Stratford Lane, according to Deerfield Police reports. The vehicle was in the owner’s driveway and unlocked.

Drivers License Infractions and More

Ricardo Sanchez-Rodriguez, 28, of Highland Park was arrested July 14 for driving without a valid driver’s license and driving with only one headlight illuminated, according to Deerfield Police reports. Police stopped Sanchez-Rodriguez in the vicinity of Lake Cook and Pfingsten Roads because only one headlight was working. Police then learned he did not have a license. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 3 p.m. August 6 in Park City.

Willis Bennett, 46, of Highland Park was arrested July 14 for driving without a valid license, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and driving an unregistered motor vehicle, according to Deerfield Police reports. After stopping Bennett in the vicinity of Waukegan and Chestnut Roads for an invalid registration, they learned he did not have a license or insurance. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 3 p.m. August 6 in Park City.

Pablo Gonzalez-Contreras, 36, of Highland Park was arrested July 15 for driving without a valid license, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and disobeying a traffic control device, according to Deerfield Police reports. After stopping Gonzalez-Contreras in the vicinity of Deerfield and Waukegan Roads for making a left turn without stopping at a traffic signal, police learned he did not have a valid license. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 3 p.m. August 6 in Park City.
