The following arrest information was supplied by the Bannockburn Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Daniel Nicholson, 43, of Lake Forest was arrested Wednesday for driving on a suspended license and speeding, according to Bannockburn Police reports. Just before the police stopped him, his car was struck by another vehicle.

Police clocked Nicholson driving 55 miles per hour in a 40-mile-per hour zone eastbound on Half Day Road between Telegraph Road and Waukegan Road passing four other cars, according to the report.

Just before the officer was about to apprehend Nicholson at a gas station at the intersection of Waukegan and Half Day Roads, another car backed into Nicholson’s vehicle, according to the report. During the investigation, police learned Nicholson’s license was suspended. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 10:30 a.m. March 19 in Park City.
