Drivers Pull Switch, Police Arrest Wanted Man

The following arrest information was supplied by the Bannockburn Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Morgan Keenan, 23, of Grayslake, who was wanted by Waukegan Police for six counts of domestic battery, was arrested Sunday for driving with a suspended license and speeding, according to Bannockburn Police reports

Police clocked Keenan driving 52 miles per hour in a 40-mile-per hour zone in the 1900 block of Half Day Road and stopped him, according to the report. As the stop was made, Keenan and the passenger in the vehicle switched positions.

Upon investigation, police not only learned Kennan’s license was suspended, but he was wanted in Waukegan on six counts of domestic battery and one charge of criminal damage to property, according to the report. He was released to the custody of two Waukegan Police officers who traveled to Bannockburn after learning of the local arrest. Keenan will appear in Lake County Court at 10:30 a.m. Sept. 3 in Park City on the Bannockburn charges.
