Driving 50 on Deerfield Road Leads to Arrest
The following arrest information was supplied by the Deerfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Kalabe Tadesse, 20, of Vernon Hills was arrested Sept. 19 for driving under the influence and speeding, according to Deerfield Police reports.
Police clocked Tadesse driving 50 miles per hour in a 30-mile-per-hour zone on Deerfield Road between Wilmot Road and Chestnut Street. After stopping him, police noticed a strong odor of alcohol coming from his breath. He failed field sobriety tests and registered a blood alcohol level of .119. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 9 a.m. Nov. 20.

David Duncan, 22 of Lake Villa was arrested Sept. 20 for driving without a valid license, driving an uninsured motor vehicle, driving with one headlight illuminated and driving with no or defective breaks, according to Deerfield Police reports. After stopping him for the headline violation, police learned he did not have a license. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 15 in Park City.
