Flash Flood Warning in Effect in Deerfield

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning in effect from 5:26 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. today.

Slow-moving thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall are moving across Southeast Lake County, which has already gotten more than three inches of rain, according to a bulletin from the weather service. 

Flash flooding is predicted in Deerfield, as well as Algonquin, Arlington Heights, Barrington, Buffalo Grove, Evanston, Des Plaines, Fox Lake, Gages Lake, Glencoe, Glenview, Grayslake, Gurnee, Harvard and Highland Park
