Fourth Nutter Murder Defendant Indicted
Anthony Martinez charged with obstruction of justice for supplying false information to police. In another case, the grand jury indicts man for unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
A fourth man charged in connection with the June 3 murder of Colin Nutter, 20, of Highland Park was indicted Wednesday by the Lake County Grand Jury on two counts of obstruction of justice.
Anthony Martinez, 19, of Highland Park was indicted for two Class Four felonies after he was arrested July 1 for providing false information about the Nutter slaying to investigators. If convicted, he faces between one and three years in jail.
A few days after the killing three men were charged with the actual slaying. Benjamin Schenk, 20 of Highwood as well as Daniel Vatamoniuc and Michael Coffee, both 17 of Highland Park, are currently being held in the Lake County jail awaiting trial.

Martwan Butler Indicted for Drug Possession
In an unrelated matter, Martwan Butler, 30, of Chicago was indicted by the Lake County Grand Jury Wednesday after he was arrested Oct. 10 by Highland Park Police for possession of a controlled substance, a Class 4 felony.
