A home in the 1100 block of N. Coolidge Avenue was burglarized sometime between 10 p.m., Feb. 29 and 6:26 a.m. March 1. Someone forced open the overhead garage, breaking it. A power washer, compressor, two saws and a hammer drill were taken.
A white 2006 Ford van was burglarized in the 1000 block of N. Coolidge Avenue sometime between 9:30 p.m. Feb. 29 and 9:12 a.m. March 1. A saw, DeWalt jigsaw, and hand tools were taken.
A gold 2004 Jaguar was burglarized in the 600 block of E. Constitution Drive sometime between 9 p.m. March 1 and 2:50 a.m. March 2. Several items in a black bag were taken from the trunk including miscellaneous work documents, keys, a Motorola radio valued at $1,000 and a jacket valued at $20.
Police received a report at 12:09 a.m. of an intoxicated person in the 1900 block of N. Green Lane. The individual, Roberto Gopar, 22, of Palatine, was charged with felony possession of cocaine.
Police were called to the 1500 block of Wyndham Circle after a report of a gold SUV racing around a condo complex at about 2 a.m. The SUV drove through grass and around the condo complex. Police located the SUV traveling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle stopped and as police approached an individual got out of the SUV and smashed the tail light of a vehicle with a baseball bat.
Police charged Jesus M. Pantoja, 28, of Palatine, was charged with felony aggravated DUI, misdemeanor reckless driving, two charges of criminal damage to property, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Spencer T. Keelan, 22 of Inverness, was charged with DUI, DUI drugs and alcohol, disobeying traffic signals, and squealing tires after a traffic stop at midnight near Quentin Road and Northwest Highway.
A 2003 Ford van had both of its rear windows shattered in the 700 block of E. Constitution Drive sometime between 8 p.m. March 2 and 11:58 p.m. March 3.
A red 2002 Ford had its rear windshield smashed in the 300 block of S. Lancelot Lane sometime between 8 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. March 3.
A black 2008 Saturn SUV was burglarized in a parking lot at 1555 N. Rand Road sometime between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. March 3. Taken from the vehicle was a computer bag, books and an iPod charger cord valued at $100.
