A lot has happened in 2011 in Deerfield and Patch has been reviewing the highlights this week with a series of articles counting down the 10 most popular stories each day through today.

No. 1. Far and away the most read story of the year had little to do with Deerfield. It had everything to do with the  at the Great Lakes Naval Training Center.
