Police Blotter: Cell Phone Use Leads to Arrest

The following arrest information was supplied by the Deerfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Driver’s License Infractions 

Michael Huston, 52, of Lombard was arrested Dec. 12 for driving while using an electronic device and driving with a revoked license, according to Deerfield Police reports.

Police spotted Huston driving eastbound on Deerfield Road near Wilmot School talking on a cellular phone, according to the report. After stopping him, a computer check showed Huston’s license had been revoked for driving while intoxicated.

He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 3 p.m. Jan. 22 in Park City.

Mehrdead Bamshad, 50, of Deerfield was arrested Dec 9 for driving with a suspended license, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and disobeying a stoplight, according to Deerfield Police reports.

According to the report, police observed Bamshad disobey a stoplight near the intersection of Lake Cook and Deer Lake Roads. After the stop, a computer check showed Bamshad’s license was suspended. Bamshad was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 22 in Park City.

Tried toRead More keep much of old structure, but Igor's rehab and lack of upkeep, made it impossible. couldn't even keep floors, all warped from water and walls full of mold. City did nothing to stop Igor from combining two distinct properties. I am having a champagne lunch Wed. June 19, 11:30 to 1:30. Would love for you to come and see the house. Annette - my first statement was "beautiful house" so I have no qualms with your outcome -Read More however, this is a re-do, re-creation not the original house. But good luck! I am sure you will find a buyer quickly!
