Police Blotter: Driver Slows Down, Stopped for DUI

Kamol Agaliyez, 22, of Glendale Heights was arrested May 5 for driving under the influence, according to .
According to the report, an officer followed Agaliyez driving westbound on Lake Cook Road near Waukegan Road clocking him driving 52 miles per hour in a 40-mile-per hour zone. Agaliyez slowed his vehicle and police stopped him near the intersection of Lake Cook and Wilmot Roads.
Police noticed Agaliyez’s eyes were red and blood shot, according to the report. Police then administered a field sobriety test and asked Agaliyez to take a field breath test. According to the report, Agaliyez’s blood alcohol count was .090. He was then arrested.

After his arrest, Agaliyez was given a second breath test at the Deerfield Police station and his blood alcohol court was recorded at .072, according to the report.
Agaliyez posted a $3,000 I bond, according to the report. He is scheduled to appear in Lake County Criminal Court at 9 a.m. June 6 in Waukegan.
