Police Blotter: Driving Without Valid License

The following arrest information was supplied by the Deerfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Ricardo Ballesteros, 21, of Wheeling was arrested Oct. 1 for driving without a valid driver’s license, according to Deerfield Police reports. 

Police spotted Ballesteros driving westbound on Lake Cook Road in the vicinity of Waukegan Road with no light above the vehicle’s registration plate, according to the report. Ballesteros explained he had a learner’s permit and not a license. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 3 p.m. Nov. 20 in Park City..

Juan Medina, 48, of Lake Bluff, was arrested Oct. 3 for driving without a valid driver’s license, according to Deerfield Police reports

According to the report, police observed Medina driving southbound on Waukegan Road near Central Avenue with only one headlight illuminated. Medina told police he did not have a driver’s license. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 1:30 p.m. Nov. 6 in Park City.
