Speeding, Outstanding Warrant

Aaron Mckendree, 43, of Buffalo Grove was arrested March 13 when police learned there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest for theft while making a routine traffic stop, according to Deerfield Police reports.

According to the report, police saw Mckendree driving a tan impala, learned through a computer search there may be an outstanding arrest warrant for theft against him and then stopped him for driving 47 miles per hour in a 40-mile per hour zone.

Mckendree allegedly accused the Deerfield police of continuously “harassing” him as he was taken into custody. After checking, police learned there was indeed an outstanding warrant for theft with bail set at $100,000, according to the report.

After issuing traffic citations for speeding and having an illegal license plate cover, Deerfield police transported Mckendree to the Lake County jail and transferred him to the custody of the Lake County Sheriff.
