Police Blotter: Five Teens Arrested for Possession of Alcohol and Marijuana

Drug Arrests
Five teenagers were arrested around 3:30 a.m. Sept. 25 at . According to police they were found in a room with two open 30-packs of Old Style and Keystone Light beer and a sink filled with ice and beer cans. Marika N. VanCleave, 18, of Wilmette was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia. The four juveniles were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and public nuisance assemblage.

Drunk Driving
David S. Walczynski, 25, of St. Charles was arrested at about midnight Sept. 23 for DUI alcohol at the intersection of Lake Cook Road and Waukegan Road. According to police he had been parked in the lot of a closed business with a female passenger, but drove away when a police car approached.
