Police Blotter: Police Arrest 3 for License Infractions

Erich Sanchez, 21, of Waukegan was arrested Nov. 13 for driving with a suspended license, no insurance and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, according to Deerfield Police reports. 

Police were investigating a crash at Lake Cook and Ellendale Roads when they discovered Sanchez did not have a license, according to the report. He was released on a $200 bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 18 in Park City.

Jose Lopez-Morales, 25, of Wheeling was arrested was arrested Nov. 10 for driving without a valid license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving with an expired registration, according to Deerfield Police reports. 

Police spotted Lopez-Morales driving in the vicinity of Lake Cook and Waukegan Roads with a license plate bearing an expired registration, according to the report. After stopping him, police discovered he did not a valid license. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court Dec. 10 in Park City. 

America Castanon, 26, of Chicago was arrested Nov. 16 for driving with a suspended license, driving without illuminated headlights, driving without a driver’s side mirror and no registration light, according to Deerfield Police reports. 

According to the report, police saw Castanon driving without illuminated headlights in the vicinity of Lake Cook and Pfingston Roads. After stopping her, police discovered Castanon had a suspended driver’s license. She will appear in Lake County Court at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 4 in Park City.
