Police Blotter: Police Arrest Man for Marijuana Possession
The following arrest information was supplied by the Deerfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Possession of Cannabis
Samuel Heller, 26, of Chicago was arrested Dec. 2 for possession of cannabis and failure to signal a turn, according to Deerfield Police reports.
Police were notified of a potentially intoxicated driver at a local restaurant, located the person and his vehicle and stopped him for failing to use a turn signal, according to the report. The person turned out to be Heller.

Though Heller passed field sobriety tests and had a zero blood alcohol level, he admitted to having a “small amount of weed” when questioned by police, according to the report. The cannabis was located in the console. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court Jan. 15 in Park City.

Epifanio Villega-Vazquez, 36, of Chicago was arrested Dec. 3 for driving without a valid license, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and failing to signal a turn, according to Deerfield Police reports.
Police spotted Villega Vazquez failing to signal two turns before stopping him in the vicinity of Forest and Somerset, according to the report. He showed a Mexican identification card and admitted to having no Illinois driver’s license. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 8 in Park City.
Dollie Bradley, 32, of Chicago was arrested Dec. 4 for driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and driving without a tail light, according to Deerfield Police reports.
Police noticed the broken tail light near the intersection of Waukegan and Lake Cook Roads. She was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 18 in Park City.
