Police Blotter: Police Catch Fugitive and More

Fugitive Apprehension
Sarah Cross, 24, of West Dundee was arrested Feb. 7 by Deerfield Police as a fugitive from justice for a 2009 retail theft charge, according to Deerfield Police reports.
Cross contacted police herself when she was locked out of her car in a building on Lake Cook Road. Police asked for her driver’s license to assure she should be in the car and a check showed she was wanted in McHenry County for a 2009 retail theft charge, according to the report.

Cross was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in McHenry County court at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in Woodstock.

Noelia Hernandez, 23, of Chicago was arrested Feb. 3 for driving with a suspended license in the vicinity of Waukegan and Oakmont Roads, according to Deerfield Police reports. After a random check, police determined the license was suspended and stopped her. She was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 3 p.m. March 19 in Park City.
Mark Blades, 24, of Chicago was arrested Feb. 6 for driving with a suspended license and driving while using a hand held telephone, according to Deerfield Police reports. After stopping Blades for using the phone, police discovered his license was suspended. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at `1:30 p.m. March 5 in Park City.
