Police Blotter: Prince Williams Arrested on Violation; Driver Busted on Drug Charge

The following incidents were reported by the Deerfield Police Department.

Drunken Driving

Kelsey Muldon, 23, of Deerfield, was charged with a driving under the influence on May 8. When police pulled her over for speeding on Waukegan Road, they smelled the odor of alcohol. Muldon registered .182 on the breath test. Her court date is May 25.

Xavier Garcia, 22, of Wheeling, was charged with possession of marijuana on May 2. Officers pulled over Garcia's vehicle after it made an illegal turn into Deerbrook Mall. Police later discovered a digital scale in his possession as well as a plastic baggy containing a green leafy substance inside a gym bag. Garcia's court date is June 16. 

Graffiti

Police responded to a malicious mischief complaint at on May 10. Officers discovered graffiti spray painted in red on the park’s gazebo and the basketball court.

Theft

On May 9, police responded to a report of a theft at a  store. Employees said a 2007 Komatsu forklift was stolen from the rear of the business. The equipment was being rented from an Aurora company and apparently was not secure at the time of the theft.

Illegal Solicitation

Prince Williams III, 45, of Michigan, was arrested on a charge of illegal solicitation on May 6. Police were called to 755 Summit Dr. in reference to a complaint. Williams said he was soliciting for “Daddy’s Lille Girl,” but police told him that there was no solicitor permit on file for that company. Williams’ court date is June 2.
