Police Looking For Chicago Woman In Connection To Walgreens Theft

Bannockburn police have a warrant out for a Chicago woman for medicine theft

Bannockburn police put out a warrant arrest this week for Donna L. Koss-Burris, 41, of the 1700 block of North Kedzie in Chicago, in connection with one count of retail theft and one count of theft at a local Walgreens, according to police.

At 1:35 p.m. Aug. 25, police responded to a call from an employee of Walgreens, at 2501 Waukegan Road, about a suspicious situation at the store, police said.

In a car in the Walgreens' parking lot, police found about $3,900 worth of over-the-counter cold medicine and $1,900 in cash that allegedly belonged to Koss-Burris. Her relatives who were in the parking lot said the medication and cash were Koss-Burris' property, police said.
