Police Muzzle Dog After It Bites Jogger

Local Dog Muzzled
Police ordered a Deerfield dog muzzled when it is not on private property Nov. 10 after it bit a person jogging in the vicinity of Wilmot Road and Lake Eleanor, according to Deerfield Police reports. The victim went to the hospital and received several stitches. Police contacted the dog’s owner and told the owner the dog must wear a muzzle when it leaves private property.

Isaac Berlow, 25, of Wheeling was arrested Nov. 9 for driving with a suspended license, according to Deerfield Police reports. After doing random check on Berlow’s license plates in the vicinity of Lake Cook Road and Pine Street, police learned his license was suspended. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 3 p.m. Dec. 17 in Park City.
