A 25-year-old Vernon Hills man a was arrested and charged Thursday with indecent solicitation of a child after he arranged to meet a 15-year-old pupil at Stevenson High for "sexual conduct," according to the Daily Herald.
Police said Emmanuel A. Perez, of the 200 Court of Shorewood in Vernon Hills, communicated with the girl over social media and text messages before setting up the meeting where they planned to walk off the campus at Stevenson High to a nearby location, according to the article
The Daily Herald reports Perez remains in custody on a $250,000 bond, which 10 percent is needed for him to be released.
