Rear End Crash Prompts DUI Arrest

DUI 

Weston Riesche, 24, of Chicago was arrested Jan. 2 for driving under the influence (drugs), failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving with a suspended driver’s license, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Deerfield Police reports. 

Responding to a report of a crash near the intersection of Corporate Drive and Lake Cook Road, police learned Riesche hit the car in front of him. While questioning him, police detected a strong odor of cannabis and a search turned up drug paraphernalia. A records search showed his license was suspended. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court at 9 a.m. Jan. 15 in Waukegan. 

Driver’s License Infractions and More 

Jason Jones, 33, of Waukegan was arrested Jan. 2 for driving with a suspended license and an expired registration, according to Deerfield Police reports. While investigating a crash near Lake Cook and Waukegan Roads, police learned Jones’ license was suspended. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 3 p.m. Feb. 4 in Park City. 

Gaetano Nardelli, 39, of Los Angeles was arrested Dec. 27 for driving with a suspended license and talking on a hand held cell phone while driving, according to Deerfield Police reports. After stopping Nardelli for talking on the phone, police learned his license was suspended. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court at 3 p.m. Feb. 4 in Park City. 

Reginald Bolcar, 24, of Chicago was arrested Dec. 31 for driving with a suspended license, according to Deerfield Police reports. After police stopped to assist Bolcar because of a flat tire, they learned his license was suspended. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court at 3 p.m. Feb. 4 in Park City.
