Seat Belt Violation Leads to Arrest

Driver’s License Infractions and more 

James Discianno, 36, of Aurora was arrested June 24 for driving with a suspended license, and failure to wear a seatbelt, according to Deerfield Police reports. 

Police observed Discianno driving in the vicinity of Deerfield Road and Spruce Street without a seatbelt, according to the report. After stopping him, police learned he did not have a license. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court. 

Carlos Rendon, 49, of Waukegan was arrested June 21 for driving with a revoked license and improper lane usage, according to Deerfield Police reports. After stopping Rendon for changing lanes without a proper signal near Deerfield High School, police learned his license was revoked. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 1:30 p.m. August 6 in Park City. 

Rosemary Brundage, 83, of Gurnee was arrested June 21 for driving without a valid license and failure to reduce speed to prevent an accident, according to Deerfield Police reports. When called to the vicinity of Waukegan Road and Chestnut Street to investigate a crash in which Brundage was involved, police learned she did not have a valid license. She was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 3 p.m. July 16 in Park City. There were no injuries as a result of the crash. 

Dennis Shin, 47, of Arlington Heights was arrested June 24 for driving while license suspended and an expired registration, according to Deerfield Police reports. After police observed Shin driving with an expired registration in the vicinity of Lake Cook and Wilmot Roads, a stop was made. Police then learned his license was suspended. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 1:30 p.m. July 16 in Park City.
