Teen Arrested for Car Burglaries

The following arrest information was supplied by the Deerfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary to Motor Vehicle 

A 17-year-old Deerfield teenager was arrested as an adult Nov. 19 on two counts of felony burglary for breaking into two vehicles in the vicinity of Jonquil Terrace and Central Avenue, according to Deerfield Police reports.

After police received a report of a burglary to motor vehicle in progress, they responded to the scene, observed the teen enter a car, stay inside and leave. After his arrest, he was transported to Lake County Criminal Court in Waukegan where Judge Raymond Collins set bond in the amount of $50,000.

Driver’s License Infractions and More 

Miguel Hurtado-Meza, 38, of Waukegan was arrested Nov. 15 for driving with a suspended license, according to Deerfield Police reports. After a random check on Waukegan Road, police learned his license was suspended. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court at 3 p.m. Dec. 3 in Park City.
