Vandals Attack Clavey Park Scoreboard

Criminal Damage to Property 

Police are investigating vandalism to the scoreboard at Clavey Park between 9 a.m. August 27 and 9 a.m. Sept. 3, according to Deerfield Police reports. Plastic displays covering the scoreboard were “broken by a rock or object like a rock that was thrown” at them. 

Drivers License Infractions and More 

Graznya Polecka, 55, of Lake Zurich was arrested Sept. 3 for driving without a valid license and driving while talking on a hand held cell phone, according to Deerfield Police reports. After stopping Polecka near the intersection of Lake Cook and Wilmot Roads for talking on the hand held phone, police discovered she did not have a license. She was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at1:30 p.m. Oct. 15 in Park City. 

Domingo Delgado-Escobar, 50, of Chicago was arrested Sept. 3 for driving without a valid license and driving without a rear registration light, according to Deerfield Police reports. After stopping him in the vicinity of Lake Cook Road and Corporate Drive for the non working registration light, police discovered he did not have a license. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 1 in Park City.
