Woman Checks Into Whitehall, Police Check Her Out
The following arrest information was supplied by the Deerfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Failure to Appear Warrant
Maureen Symington 53, of Northbrook, was arrested Dec. 17 on a warrant for failing to appear in court, according to Deerfield Police reports. Police learned Symington checked into Whitehall for care and there was an active warrant against her from Glenview for failing to appear in court. Glenview police came to Whitehall and took custody of her.
Theft

Ruth Pepper, 53, of Deerfield was arrested Dec. 16 for theft, according to Deerfield Police reports. Pepper admitted to taking items from the lobby of a building in the 600 block of Robert York Avenue after police showed her a list of the items and video footage of her taking them. She was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court Jan. 21 in Park City.

Lasaundra Ashley, 33, of Chicago was arrested Dec. 14 for driving with a suspended license, according to a Deerfield Police report. After an inaccurate report she failed to pay for gas in the vicinity of Lake Cook and Waukegan Roads, police learned her license was suspended. She was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court Jan. 7 in Park City.
