Woman Seeks Help, Gets Arrested
The following arrest information was supplied by the Bannockburn Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
Shukura Tartt, 34, of Chicago was arrested April 1 for driving while license suspended and driving an uninsured motor vehicle, according to Bannockburn Police reports.
Tartt was driving on Half Day Road when she pulled to a stop by a police car with an officer inside, according to the police, according to the report. She was seeking directions. Upon checking, police learned Tartt’s license and she did not have insurance in place. She was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 10:30 a.m. May 2 in Park City.
