Irina Ridley, 28, of San Francisco was arrested Sept. 23 for retail theft, according to Deerfield Police reports. A loss prevention officer at Whole Foods spotted Ridley place two bottles of vitamins valued at $72.22 in the bottom of a shopping cart and leave the store without paying for them. She paid for the rest of her merchandise. Police were called and made the arrest. She was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 15 in Park City.

Roman Celestino, 38, of Highland Park was arrested Sept. 22 for driving on a suspended license and speeding, according to Deerfield Police reports. Police clocked Celestino driving 40 miles per hour in a 30-per-mile-hour zone on Deerfield Road near Pine Street. After stopping him, police learned his license was suspended. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 1:30 p.m. in Park City.
