Deerbrook May Benefit From Proposed Zoning Change

Village Board will consider zoning changes to encourage retail business along Lake Cook Road corridor at tonight’s meeting.

A plan to amend Deerfield’s zoning requirements to encourage retail use in the Lake Cook Road corridor will be discussed by the Village Board of Trustees during its regularly scheduled meeting at 7:30 p.m. today at the Village Hall.

If approved, the proposal will give a boost to and other locations in the Lake Cook Corridor, other businesses and potential retailers in the vicinity of Lake Cook and Waukegan Roads.

, according to the Plan Commission suggestions.

Other items on today’s agenda include a change in the number of liquor licenses allowed in the Village, changing Deerfield’s business cycle from its current fiscal year to a calendar year, a special use for Joy of the Game and more.

Why would any business consider going into the Lake Cook corridor with another year of road construction starting soon?

deerbrook mall is a waste. landlord over charges for rent. when a nice buisness like kuhns deli leave there must be a problem
