Major Apartment Buildings Get Further Review

Village Board will consider final development plans for Woodview, AMLI projects.

Two apartment projects containing nearly 500 dwelling units are moving closer to reality in Deerfield and will be on the agenda when the Village Board of Trustees meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Village Hall.

Woodview Apartments, a proposed 248-unit project located near Deerfield Road and the Tri-State Toll Road, may get a final vote on its request for a special use permit in the Parkway North area. It has already received preliminary approval.

A report from the Plan Commission recommending approval of the final development plan for a second project, this one 240 units by AMLI Companies near Lake Cook Road and the Tollway, is also on the agenda.
