What are the three most important issues facing the West Deerfield Township Board ofTrustees?

  1. Relevancy in this well served area i.e. Village of Deerfield, Lake County
  2. Being a conduit of “well run government service” not “bloated wasteful and shameful bureaucracy” as folks in Illinois have come to expect.
  3. MOST IMPORTANT, IMPROVED SERVICES TO SENIORS AND PEOPLE WHO ARE ALONE WITH NO END OF SOLITARY STATUS. WEST DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP CAN BE A G-DSEND TO THE MANY PEOPLE WHO HAVE CONTRIBUTED MIGHTILY AND FACE LIFE DURATION ALONE AND MAY NOT BE LEAVING SO EXPEDITIOUSLY. THIS IS SAD AND MUST BE ADDRESSED EVERYWHERE.

How do you distinguish yourself from your opponent(s)?

Well, I have 7 opponents and they all seem like decent people. My fellow current trustee oppnents are good people for sure. I believe through my experience as Trustee for 4 years and working with Senator Morrison that in the next term I can lead and effectuate with a new Board, significant improvement services and housing to the senior aging population. This is my goal.

What is your professional background?

Cleaning buildings and window washing, selling toilet paper and garbage bags, and working for Sears Roebuck & Co as my first career.

What is your educational background?

Hebrew Institute of Long Island, Wilmot Elementary School, Wilmot Junior High AKA Caruso, DHS, George Washington U, DePaul.

What other information would you like to share?

It’s tough as hell out there and our State is in dire straits. I’d like to see “us” as local leaders take a greater leadership role, Party aside, to promote good government to our State of Illinois leaders who are failing us.
