Morrison Ice Cream Social Sunday
State Senate candidate and West Deerfield Township supervisor gives voters a chance to know her better.
takes her campaign to succeed retiring to in Deerfield from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday with an ice cream social.
Morrison wanted an opportunity to mingle with local residents in an informal setting to learn more about issues important to her and them as she seeks the Democratic nomination for the Illinois Senate in the March 20 primary.
"I am looking forward to meeting many families from the area at this event," Morrison said. "As I walk through my district talking to residents, I have a strong sense of the economic and other issues people are facing. Events like this are an invaluable way for people to network and share their priorities and concerns."
