Nadler Joins Village Board Monday

New 240-unit apartment project and Deerbrook are also on the agenda.

Deerbrook Mall and a proposed 240-unit apartment project are on the agenda for the Deerfield Village Board of Trustees at 7:30 p.m. Monday as Village Hall as Robert Nadler becomes the legislative body’s newest member.

Nadler, who was elected April 9, will take the oath of office along with Barbara Struthers, who was reelected, as well as Mayor Harriet Rosenthal who ran unopposed for a second term last month.

The Board will be looking for answers from developers of a proposed 240-unit apartment project at 1525 Lake Cook Road. At the April 15 meeting, Rosenthal and the Trustees wanted to know how certain potential traffic situations would be handled.
