Patch Primary Election Central Opens Today

Get the latest facts, figures and information on the March 20 primary.

With the March 20 primary election two weeks away and early voting underway for just over a week, Patch is launching its Primary Election Central today.

Information is available from the Presidential race to local campaigns.

In the 10th Congressional District, Rep. Robert Dold (R-Kenilworth) is running unopposed in the primary while four Democrats—Waukegan community organizer Ilya Sheyman, Deerfield management consultant Brad Schneider, Mundelein attorney Vivek Bavda and Long Grove business owner John Tree—seek the Democratic nod.

In the 29th State Senate District, West Deerfield Township Supervisor Julie Morrison is taking on Lake Bluff business consultant Milton Sumption in the Democratic primary while Highland Park physician Arie Friedman is the lone Republican.

Election Central also gives you what you need to know on the 58th State House Legislative race between Republicans Lauren Turelli and Mark Neerhoff, both of Lake Forest. Scott Drury of Highwood is unopposed for the Democratic nomination.
