Saunders Road Eatery One Step Closer
The healthy restaurant will feature outdoor seating and plans to be environmentally conscious.
Plans for a new healthy food restaurant at 780 Saunders Road appear to be moving forward as trustees passed a plan submitted by entrepreneurs Anil and Upsana Abbott. The proposal is scheduled to come before the village board a second and final reading on July 1.
The owners not only plan to serve healthy food, they intend to minimize their environmental impact as well, Patch previously reported. They plan to turn an existing house at 780 Saunders Road into their restaurant. The building contains 3,000 square feet. An outdoor patio will offer more seating when the weather is right.
