Water Main Breaks in Downtown Deerfield
Traffic tie ups could continue through 6 p.m.
A water main broke on Deerfield Road just east of Waukegan Road in downtown Deerfield today, according to an email from the Deerfield Bannockburn Riverwoods Chamber of Commerce.
The Deerfield Public Works Department is currently responding to the problem, according to the email. The incident is expected to impact traffic through 6 p.m. The water main runs underneath the road.
