What is NOT aromatherapy?

The practice of using essences that did not originate from an aromatic plant was once alive is not aromatherapy. 95% of the products sold as aromatherapy counterfeits – pseudo-aromatherapy. These aromas derive from synthetic scents, and they offer no therapeutic value whatsoever. True supermarkets. Rarely, if ever do these products contain pure essential oils. Even if they do, these oils can accelerate absorptions of other chemicals and products. Read the list of ingredients of any product you are considering and think about whether you want them entering your body. What therapeutic value are essential oils if they are swimming in synthetic chemicals such as emulsifiers, stabilizers, surfactants, propellants, petroleum waxes, and preservatives?

Price of the product

Price can indicate whether or not the product is true aromatherapy. Think about whether ‘rose’ aerosol spray selling for $ 4.00 or a ‘lavender’ candle priced at $6.00 could possibly contain pure essential oil, when more that 150 pounds of lavender flowers will yield only 1 pound of lavender oil and approximately 5,000 pound of rose petals produce only 1 pound of rose oil. Most fruits, with the exception of some citrus fruits, do not produce essential oils.  Scents such as apple, banana, cherry, coconut, mango, papaya, peach, pear, pineapple, raspberry, strawberry, and watermelon are not essential oils. Scientists in labs synthesize these fragrances from petrochemicals or fossil fuels.

In conclusion, pseudo aromatherapy can cause the health problems, which true aromatherapy heals.
