The Bottom Line: Cole and Horwitz will be the Warriors sole representatives in the State Finals as they helped Deerfield place third in the Stevenson Sectional. Only the top two teams advance as a squad.

The Final Score: Deerfield 51, Lincoln Park 43
Warriors Star Performer: scored 10 points and pulled down three rebounds.
Other Notable Warrior Performances: scored 10 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out an assist. Eric Porter chipped in 10 points as well including a pair from three point range. He had three assists and a steal as well.
Who’s Next: The Warriors travel to Glenbrook North at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
The Bottom Line: The Warriors outscored Lincoln Park 17-11 in the fourth quarter to score the victory after leading by a point, 34-33, at the end of three periods. Deerfield took a 14-9 lead in the opening stanza. Lincoln Park went on a run to jump ahead 26-21 at the intermission before the Warriors mounted a comeback in the second half. Deerfield is 8-9 for the season.
