College Recruiting Night Set for Warrior Athletes

Deerfield High School athletes invited to Central Suburban League's College Recruiting Night.

All Deerfield High School athletes planning to continue their sport in college are invited to participate in the Central Suburban League’s College Recruiting Night at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the New Trier West campus.

The event is open to freshmen, sophomores and juniors at all conference schools, which includes Deerfield, and their parents.

Speakers from the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Wheaton College and New Trier will talk about different aspects of college athletics, hold a panel discussion and answer questions.

The event hopes support student athletes who think they may want to continue to participate after high school and provide insight into the college recruiting process at all levels, according to a release by the Central Suburban League.
