DHS Plans More School Chest Events

Deerfield High School also holds financial aid meeting and reaches out to graduates.

SCHOOL CHEST ANNUAL CHARITY DRIVE UNDERWAY

Despite temperatures in the single digits, about 155 runners showed up to participate in the DHS School Chest’s Race for Change on Saturday, December 7, held at the DHS track. The event was followed by Sunday’s benefit and silent auction at the Deerfield Hyatt.

The 3-week drive will be capped off by a Mah Jong Night on Wednesday, December 18, and Mr. DHS on Thursday, December 19. Please visit dhs.dist113.org for further details. The events are open to the public.

This year's school chest beneficiary is the Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association (GLASA), is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing sports equipment and programs for children and adults with physical or visual impairments.

FINANCIAL AID MEETING FOR SENIORS & PARENT/GUARDIANS -- FAFSA, FORMS AND FINANCIAL NEED

District 113 is hosting a Financial Aid Workshop for seniors and their parents/guardians on Monday, January 13th at 7 pm in the Highland Park High

School Auditorium. The workshop will provide critical information on completing the FAFSA, what comprises a financial aid package, and how and what to communicate with financial aid officers. The featured presenter is Mr. Jerry Cebrzynski, Director of Financial Aid, Lake Forest College. 

DISTRICT 113 AND EDUCATION FOUNDATION INVITE ALUMS BACK

District 113 is excited to be partnering with its Educational Foundation to bring alumni back into an active Deerfield High School community, where they can stay informed on current programs, sporting news, fine arts events, distinguished graduates and reunion announcements.
