Baron was part of the effort that gave Lake Forest a 2-0 victory over Fenwick Sunday on United Center ice to win the Blackhawk Cup, symbolic of hockey prep supremacy in the state of Illinois.

Playing hockey since she was four, Baron jumped at the chance when Scout captain Madison Pfalzer suggested she be part of the team. “I’m friends with Maddie (Pfalzer) and she asked me to join,” Baron said.
