If you are the parent of a child who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2011, contact your elementary school to make sure you receive a registration packet. The packet, which will be mailed in January, will include the checklist of items you must bring in order to register your child. To find your elementary school, use the District 109 Address Finder at http://tinyurl.com/address109. Please note that AM/PM kindergarten assignments will be made in May 2011, and are not based on early arrival at registration. In addition, registration for Kindergarten Round Up – your child's first introduction to the school and teachers that is held in late spring – will be conducted online in March.
NOTE: You also can attend the registration session on February 16 from 12:00 - 7:00 pm.
