District 109 Community Forum
The Board of Education of District 109 is holding a community forum on Monday, March 14 at 7:00pm in the Caruso Middle School Auditorium. The agenda of the forum includes:
- The Year in Review
- Educational Programming
- Financial State of the District
- Staff Training and Professional Development
- Strategic Planning
- Enrollment and Staffing Changes Community Questions and Input
The community input portion of the forum is designed to allow everyone who has a question or comment to speak. If you wish to pose a comment or question to the Board, you will be able to sign in electronically when you arrive. Speakers will be called in the order in which they sign in; each person will have up to three minutes at the microphone. When time allows, the Board will provide quick responses. Answers to all questions will be posted online within a week of the forum.
The slides for the presentation, which will include information on planned programming in modern language, science and educational life skills, as well as enrollment projections for 2011-2012, will be posted at www.dps109.org before the meeting.
