Lil' Bake-off at Deerfield Farmers Market

DCNS is hosting its first ever “Lil' Bake-off” fundraiser at the Deerfield Farmers Market on July 9, 2011.

Kids ages 2 – 7 are invited to submit their creative desserts for a chance to win some real goodies. Prizes include a one-hour kids cooking class with Deerfield’s own Gale Gand, a mother of three, celebrated chef, Food Network host and cookbook author of Gale Gand’s Brunch!: 100 Fantastic Recipes for the Weekend’s Best Meal.

Entries will be accepted at the DCNS booth at the Farmers Market the morning of the event until the judging begins at 10:15 a.m. Winners will be announced at 10:30 a.m. Registration fee is $20 prior to event, day-of registration is $25.

Early registration will be accepted until Friday, July 8 by sending an email with child and guardian’s names, email address, and phone number to erinmangurten@hotmail.com or by phone – registration fee will be collected at the event.
