May Your Wish Be 'GRANT-ed!"

No, not from a Genie in a bottle! Here's how: Two little known sources of help--in the form of special GRANTS--are available in our community that very few people know about.  Both offer funds for necessary goods and services to assist those who are family caregivers or who have accessiblity challenges.  Neither have an income ceiling, but are intended for those applicants with need.  You may qualify!  Family Service will talk about the Caregiver Resource Center's Respite, Legal, and Gap Filling Grants.  West Deerfield Township will discuss the Community Suppport Grant for Accessibility, what it is, and how to apply.    The presentation should last about 30 minutes. Open to all. Participants who are family caregivers are welcome to stay until 2:15 for our Adult Caregiver Education & Support (ACES) meeting. The "Friendship Club" is available to supervise and engage your loved one on site at PTC while you attend the meeting. Questions?  Margie Fischer 847-940-4010.
