Patch Poll: Voice Your Opinion on Teacher Pay

With the teachers seeking a larger raise than the Board wants to pay, Patch wants to know what the readers think.

One of the issues dividing the in its ongoing contract talks with is how much the educators should receive.

Since the talks have been an intense issue in the community bringing voicing their opinion in support of one side or the other, Patch has decided to take an unscientific poll of our readers on one of the issues.

Readers can vote and offer their comments through midnight Saturday and Patch will publish the findings early Monday morning ahead of the next mediation session between the two sides later that day.

School Board member Steve Schwartz, part of the District negotiating team, has said the current Board proposal calls for smaller increases than provided for in the contract that expired in August.
