graduated its class of 2012 Tuesday as 377 seniors walked across the Ravinia Festival stage to receive their diplomas.

The ceremony began as Class Marshals Daniel Dubin and Nicolette Chamberlain-Simon first led the faculty and then their class into the Ravinia Pavilion.

After a greeting from Township High School District 113 Superintendent George Fornero, the assembled seniors, family and friends heard Hannah Goldstein address the crowd with the official address.

The valedictorians are Anna Saplitski, Jett Levin, Jeremy Jacobson, Jenna Aronson, and Elaine Arbaugh. Jason Brown and Michael Fosco are the salutatorians.

Boyi Zhang was awarded Deerfield High School's John F. Kennedy Medal of Honor for her personal courage, caring for others, ability to face adversity, and the respect of her peers.
