Police Respond to School Bus Accident Involving Biker

Police were called to the corner of Greenwood and Park Avenue Tuesday morning in response to a bus vs. child on bike report.

Authorities believe a 15-year-old student was riding his bike to school when he fell off.

Officials say they don’t think the school bus actually touched the teenager but possibly rolled over his backpack. 

told Patch the bicyclist did not appear to be injured. Instead, he was picked up by his mother and taken to school.

There were approximately a dozen students on the school bus when the accident occurred.

At this time the bus driver is filling out an accident report.
