Last year marked the first year for the scholarship program, which is named after former Deerfield Park District Executive Director Linda Gryziecki, who retired in 2011 after 38 years of service.

The foundation’s scholarship committee will review applicants' submitted materials in April and interview qualified candidates in May. Scholarships will be presented at the May 20 Deerfield Park Foundation meeting.
